Our weekend retreat at Douro Suites was a slice of paradise on the Douro River. the peaceful ambiance and stunning natural beauty made for a perfect escape. the cozy studio, complete with a small kitchenette, offered a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities. the sunset views from the terrace were truly breathtaking, especially while sipping on a welcome gin and tonic. the warm hospitality of the staff, like Carla and Tania, enhanced our experience, making us feel right at home. With a seasonal outdoor pool and whirlpool baths overlooking the river, relaxation was at its finest. the serene atmosphere and lack of crowds made for a rejuvenating getaway.
